Curriculum Ideas

Grow Curriculum or Live Curriculum

These are both from Group and are planned programs that have everything from ice breakers to teaching to small groups. These are a great way to have something planned but also be able to take and tweak to what your group needs. The downfall with these are that they are both pretty expensive. Definitely worth checking out those as it would allow you to hand off weeks to your leaders that you feel are equipped to teach.

Alpha Teen Series

It's video based curriculum and nine weeks long. The videos are really well done and lead to great discussion. The reason I would encourage it is that it would be a great way for you to get in and just start building relationships without feeling the pressure to live teach for the first couple of months. I feel that would give you a good idea of where the students are spiritually, and to see where you might need to take them. It's a great curriculum to build the foundations of faith but also will take your mature students to the next level. You could do this for both middle school and high school. And best of all it's FREE!
